Clay is more or less dust, organic material and water. Some of the first glazes were ashes mixed with water. As humans were made of basic elements. Getting those components into a suitable form takes an outside influence.
Tim Dubbels has resided in Northeast Washington most of his life. Influenced by nature and its lakes and forests, his pottery takes on a humble feel. Each piece is an expression of faith and desire to embolden Gods mercy and grace. (In his own life)
Tims passion for pottery began during a difficult time in his life as a teen. He found pottery to be an escape, an opportunity to bring a positive influence into a dark world.
He has also taught pottery to groups and individuals for those looking for an experience in ceramic art. Tim loves to share his passion for clay through education and demonstrations.
His aptitude for creativity, precision and uniqueness are molded together in his pieces. Today he adds wisdom to his design that comes from the road he has traveled.
